Diablo Cody must be updating her Facebook status like a madman.
The Oscar-winning Juno screenwriter has just confirmed through her rep that she's not only married to Dan Maurio, but pregnant with their first child!
"I'm not 'secretly married,'" Cody Tweeted in response to rumors.
"I married Dan last summer. Took wedding photos in Times Square, which is pretty much the opposite of secretive." So she just didn't announce it.
But first, she happily shared her baby news, also via Twitter.
Diablo Cody is pregnant and a married woman.
"Thanks for the congrats on my fetus," she wrote. "No secrets here; just thought it would be fun to see how big I could get before someone noticed."
Dan Maurio, who works with Chelsea Handler on Chelsea Lately, doesn't seem to mind that he's all of a sudden been outed as Cody's main man.
"She's a great lady to make a fetus with," he said.
Congrats on that fetus and that wedding, guys!
