It was all about family for "Jennifer Lopez".

Inspite of rumors that claimed her diva-like demands delayed her inclusion on the American Idol judging panel, the singer is officially on board and told People magazine why in a new interview.

"We are really happy that we get to be in one place with the babies for a while," she said of her and husband Marc Anthony. "This is going to put us here for like six months. It is unheard of for us. The babies can do dance class and soccer practice. We're excited about being a little bit of a normal family for a little while."

"I have lost over 50 lbs"

Weight of Her has fluctuated more often than Lindsay Lohan's blood-alcohol level, but Kirstie Alley is proud to announce that it is been a good few months.

"I've lost over 50 lbs... and I'm having the time of my of my life," she Tweeted yesterday, adding: 30 more to gooooo."

In 2009, the actress confessed that she had shot up to 230 pounds, a sad reversal to the 75-pound weight loss she enjoyed via Jenny Craig in 2006.

Even more significantly, the Probation Department wants her in the slammer for 30 day for the first failed drug test, indicating a positive reading for cocaine.



Here's the thing. If Judge Elden Fox sentences her to 30 days in jail for the cocaine violation, Lindsay would likely be released the same day due to overcrowding.

That's typical for a non-violent offender, but we saw how effective her early release was last time, and come on. At this point, it's embarrassing for the system.

Judge Fox's other option is to deny bail, throw her in jail and schedule a hearing within 30 days. Basically, she'd have to sit in a cell for a month waiting.

Dancing With the Stars is Hard!

The highlight of the Dancing With the Stars premiere - to fans and Bristol Palin herself - was the revealing of her sexy dress beneath a more conservative outfit.

"That was my favorite part!" she told Us Weekly after the performance. "Leading up to it I was pretty nervous, but once I pulled the jacket off it was all good!"

Added partner Mark Ballas, "That's when things kicked in, and she was like, 'Ok, let's go!'" They scored only 16, but Len Goodman praised her "good hip action."

Simon Barney Has Been Arrested

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney's estranged husband, Simon Barney, was arrested this morning on suspicion of domestic battery.

Simon, who is in the process of divorcing Tamra, got into an argument with her over their dog and allegedly threw the dog's leash at her and hit her wrist.



That's gotta hurt. TMZ reports that Tamra Barney called the police and had her soon-to-be ex-husband arrested. Simon is now being held on $10,000 bail.

Kelly Osbourne has been involved in Twitter feuds before

Dannii claimed fellow panelist Sharon Osbourne made her during her first night on the British talent show, which did not sit well with the outspoken Kelly.

"The best thing to happen to Dannii was my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concenterate [sic] on motherhood!" Osbourne Tweeted.
