Inspite of rumors that claimed her diva-like demands delayed her inclusion on the American Idol judging panel, the singer is officially on board and told People magazine why in a new interview.

"We are really happy that we get to be in one place with the babies for a while," she said of her and husband Marc Anthony. "This is going to put us here for like six months. It is unheard of for us. The babies can do dance class and soccer practice. We're excited about being a little bit of a normal family for a little while."

Weight of Her has fluctuated more often than Lindsay Lohan's blood-alcohol level, but Kirstie Alley is proud to announce that it is been a good few months.

The second test Lindsay failed last week showed a positive reading for Adderall, but the L.A. County Probation Department is not recommending jail time for that.

Even more significantly, the Probation Department wants her in the slammer for 30 day for the first failed drug test, indicating a positive reading for cocaine.



Here's the thing. If Judge Elden Fox sentences her to 30 days in jail for the cocaine violation, Lindsay would likely be released the same day due to overcrowding.

That's typical for a non-violent offender, but we saw how effective her early release was last time, and come on. At this point, it's embarrassing for the system.

Judge Fox's other option is to deny bail, throw her in jail and schedule a hearing within 30 days. Basically, she'd have to sit in a cell for a month waiting.

Dancing With the Stars is Hard!

The highlight of the Dancing With the Stars premiere - to fans and Bristol Palin herself - was the revealing of her sexy dress beneath a more conservative outfit.

"That was my favorite part!" she told Us Weekly after the performance. "Leading up to it I was pretty nervous, but once I pulled the jacket off it was all good!"

Added partner Mark Ballas, "That's when things kicked in, and she was like, 'Ok, let's go!'" They scored only 16, but Len Goodman praised her "good hip action."

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney's estranged husband, Simon Barney, was arrested this morning on suspicion of domestic battery.

Simon, who is in the process of divorcing Tamra, got into an argument with her over their dog and allegedly threw the dog's leash at her and hit her wrist.



That's gotta hurt. TMZ reports that Tamra Barney called the police and had her soon-to-be ex-husband arrested. Simon is now being held on $10,000 bail.

Dannii claimed fellow panelist Sharon Osbourne made her during her first night on the British talent show, which did not sit well with the outspoken Kelly.

Cindy Barshop Joins The Real Housewives

Cindy Barshop, founder and owner of Completely Bare, a successful chain of day spas specializing in hair removal, is joining The Real Housewives of New York City.

We actually did a story on her years ago because she's Paris Hilton's bikini waxer. Who knew? To think, only she and a few dozen guys have seen Paris like that.

Anyway. With three locations in Manhattan, plus branches in Palm Beach, Fla. and Scarsdale, N.Y., Cindy Barshop's empire is self-made, and extremely successful.



But it's not all business for her. She's also single mom to twin girls Zoe and Jesse, born in 2009. Adds a source close to the new star: "She's funny and very nice!"

Her casting on The Real Housewives of NYC was confirmed by Us, although the identity of the new housewife has been a carefully-guarded secret all summer.

"We have this new girl coming on. She is very happy with herself," Ramona Singer said. "Not to say I'm not going to get pissed at her or have a fight with her."

Lindsay Lohan Fails Drug Tests

Lindsay Lohan has failed her most recent mandatory drug test, a condition of her probation. This is not just a rumor. She confirmed it herself on Twitter.

It may mean the 24-year-old is headed back to the slammer. L.A. Superior Court Judge Elden Fox had threatened to hand her 30 days for each violation.

Lohan, who served just a fraction of her previous jail and rehab sentences, confesed on Twitter: "Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test."



TMZ reports Lindsay Lohan had "multiple dirty tests" and that the drug in question was cocaine at least once. The actress continued her mea cupla:

"If I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week. Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night."

"I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward. I am testing every day and doing what I must to prevent any [more] mishaps."

The train wreck concludes, "This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I'm prepared to face the consequences."

16 Years Old Tom Andrews On Ellen DeGeneres Show

Floyd Mayweather has been charged with four felonies and four misdemeanors.

The charges stem from an incident last week in which Josie Harris, who is the mother of three children with the boxer, called the police on her ex-boyfriend. She claims he punched her in the face.



Initially, Mayweather was only charged with felony grand larceny, as he allegedly stoke Harris' iPhone (because he was furious over text to basketball player CJ Watson?).

But TMZ now confirms new charges have been added to the list. They include: coercion, robbery, battery and harassment. Two of those charges are based around threats Mayweather reportedly made against his 10-year old son.

Paris Hilton is in a bind after her recent drug arrest.

She could still avoid jail time, however, having been offered a plea deal following her arrest for cocaine possession. The question is whether she'll jump at it.

The ho-tel heiress can keep her purdy a$$ out of jail by pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges, a drug count and a count of lying to a police officer.



Paris Hilton would still have to appear in court to enter a plea.

She is scheduled to be arraigned in Las Vegas on October 27. The original charge she was hit with the night that she and Cy Waits got popped was possession of a felony controlled substance. Will she take the deal? She has to, right?

A spokeswoman for the Clark County District Attorney's Office declined to discuss any specifics of a plea, but did say that the offense is punishable by up to a year in jail ... or could warrant mere probation. So who the heck knows.

One week after the completely bogus bombshell scandal was concocted broke, Famous magazine, which apparently exists, has the latest on how Angelina Jolie is reacting to the false devastating revelation that Brad Pitt cheated on her.

I kept it personal because I never wanted to be judged, I never wanted pity and I certainly wanted to hold on to my job."



Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological disorder. It is not contagious or fatal, but it's symptoms grow worse over time.

As they promote their book, Cirque du Salahi: Be Careful Who You Trust, Michaele (who will pose nude for Playboy) and her husband say: "We want America to know that you can still have a full, exciting and productive life even if you or your loved one is battling a debilitating, chronic disease such as MS."

Grounds For Search May Bail Out Paris Hilton

Police did not give Paris a blood test when the ho-tel heiress was hauled into custody, which may provide a slight opening she needs to get out of prison.

A positive test for cocaine would make it impossible for the heiress' defense - that the cocaine found in her purse did not belong to her - to hold water.



Police are not required to give a blood test in such circumstances because she wasn't driving (her boyfriend Cy Waits was, and was arrested for DUI).

"Usually the police will not test for drugs if they’re not driving," a legal expert said. "Paris wasn't driving the car, so she wasn't given any of the tests."

According to police, Paris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over outside the Wynn Hotel in Vegas, where her life-saving BF, Cy Waits, is based.

The driver was popped for DUI (drugs, not alcohol) and reports say that when cops searched Paris, they found her in possession of a controlled substance.

Police say tests revealed the substance to be cocaine, and that the ho-tel heiress, whose World Cup arrest for pot made headlines recently, was arrested.

“I think she’s got some pretty realistic goals in life, and I wish her the absolute best. Hopefully she’ll find a guy she can spend the next 60 years of her life with.”

Jake Pavelka hasn’t interacted with Vienna Girardi since all the drama went down, and hopes that over time, he and his ex can even become friends despite it.

“I don’t have any hurt feelings over it,” he says. “The whole thing was tragic and it was sad but it happened and … it really is okay. We’ll probably let a little bit of time go by, but I’m sure someday our paths will cross and we’ll be friends.”

Mariotti was arrested early this morning in Los Angeles

The arrest took place at 4:30 a.m.

A former write for The Chicago Sun-Times, Mariotti is being held on $50,000 bail. In 2004, he got into a fight with a White Sox announcer who claimed Mariotti was a "fraud" for never entering the club house of the team he covered.
